Yum! Brands, Inc. (or Yum!), formerly Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc., is an American fast food corporation listed on the Fortune 1000. Yum! operates the brands KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, The Habit Burger Grill, and WingStreet worldwide, except in China, where the brands are operated by a separate company, Yum China. Prior to 2011, Yum! also owned Long John Silver's and A&W Restaurants.


A former employee Yum! Brands said "I've spent a year of my life working for Yum! Brands and have not once gotten a real raise, I've learned every position besides Management which makes me more valuable than just anyone that comes in. Multiple of the Yum! staff are severally underpaid and overall not a good work place for growth."

"like a highschool, management was lazy, understaffed and overworked, the GM made unwelcome advances on me (i was 17 he was 35) and corporate + district manager swept it under the rug. the hours are never set and ever changing and the pay so low it’s not worth it. especially with literal trauma happening and everyone turning a blind eye even after my mother called the district manager and corporate.literally no prosall of it"

"regularly scheduled full time hours on paper, but when paid, was docked excessively for breaks we were not allowed to take. no pay raise available. excessively rude customers incompetent corporate staff."

"I worked at this Pizza Hut for lack of any other jobs in the area...We ran the store as best we could with what support we got from Corp Yum....which was not much more than telling us everything was always bad....I don't recommend working for Yum unless last resort"

"When ordering at the drive thru, I clearly asked for Honey Barbecue wings. However, when arriving home, I opened the bag and realized that there was no sauce. Also, KFC’s service is terrible, it took me 30 minutes in the drive thru to get my order. Wouldn’t recommend KFC. Very unreliable and does not satisfy my tastebuds."

"My wife and myself both got a two piece I got the wing and drum stick with coleslaw and mash potatoes and a bis and a fruit punch the biscuits was not even cooked the punch was red water mash potatoes seemed like they where still some what frozen in the middle my wife got the nuggets one bite she through the whole thing a way except for her coke that was not bad. i tried to give it no stares but hat to put one to write this."

"Two times they have no crispy chicken. One time "No we dont have any" second time. It will be 22 min, . And I had already paid for it. So I said cancel and give me a pot pie. They didnt have those. So I ended up with original chicken, which I cant stand. I had asked for a refund but the young lady didnt know how and the manager was gone. She had gone to get straws, which they were out of. Imagine that"
